Austria’s capital community volunteers deliver fact-based drug education with young people across the city
VIENNA, Austria — 23 December 2025 — Volunteers linked to “A Drug-Free World” Austria have expanded outreach in Vienna, speaking with youth, families and educators through public information points and community events. The Vienna effort is led by Gabriele Toker, the initiative uses “Truth About Drugs” materials to present straightforward information on drug risks, with particular attention to cannabis, described by public monitoring bodies as the most widely used illicit drug in Europe. Details were published in a published overview.
Organisers say, the Vienna activities aim to reach teenagers early, including at large public gatherings such as the Donauinselfest, Sag NEIN zu Drogen Österreich while also connecting with educators interested in classroom-ready resources. Ivan Arjona, Scientology’s representative to the European institutions and the United Nations, noted: “Reliable, early information helps young people make free and responsible choices—strengthening public health and civic responsibility.”
